Armenian Church celebrates the Feast of Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ
Following His Resurrection and defeat of death, Christ remained on earth for forty days, and continued to appear to His disciples. On the fortieth day, Christ is seen by His disciples for the last time. He blesses them and leaves them with instructions, after which He ascends into heaven.
High-level delegation of the Council of Europe to visit Yerevan on 30-31 May

Surp Giragos Armenian Church in Diyarbekir being restored
The St. Giragos church was built in 1376 and is known to be the biggest Armenian church in the Middle East. It was used by the German army as headquarters during the World War I and was converted into a warehouse after the war.
