Armenia announces call for applications for Junior Eurovision 2019
The contest is open to participants aged 9-14. Submitted songs (music and lyrics) cannot have been published before May 1st 2019 in accordance with EBU rules.
Songs must be longer than two minutes 30 seconds and no longer than three minutes

Today is the 116th birth anniversary of Aram Khachaturian
Born in 1903 Aram Khachaturian showed early signs of a love of music, but his formal training did not begin until 1922, when he was admitted to the famous Gnessin Institute in Moscow and continued at the Moscow Conservatory with the eminent composer Myaskovsky.

Armenian folk musicians perform Black Sabbath song "She's Gone"

State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia to perform with jazzman Ronald Baker
Ronald Baker has appeared in most of the major jazz festivals and has performed with great artists such as Lou Donaldson, Curtis Fuller, Jesse Davis and Antonio Hart to name a few. Ronald has been touring with his own quintet for more than 22 years.
